Sarah Brusch holds a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of North Georgia and is Orton-Gillingham trained. Mrs. Brusch grew up in Georgia and attended Pinecrest Academy for 15 years, then came back to teach for 9 years in both 2nd and 3rd grade.
Her passion is to help identify students' struggles and strengths through early intervention and to support students' academic potential, especially as it pertains to reading and writing. She is excited to continue her love of teaching through Brusch Up on Basics. She is patient, engaging, and flexible to work with.
What I Offer
A structured, systematic, and explicit approach to teaching reading and spelling — the gold standard for students with dyslexia and reading difficulties. Each session is tailored to your child's individual needs.
Engaging lessons that incorporate visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning pathways to reinforce reading and writing skills in a way that sticks — and builds lasting confidence.
Specialized support for students with diagnosed or suspected dyslexia, reading delays, or learning differences. I meet students where they are and help them reach their full potential.
Every student receives a customized learning plan built around their specific strengths and areas for growth. Progress is tracked and strategies are adjusted regularly to maximize results.
